I know myself I thought more recruits would flip and show more interest but there is still to much unknown.

Lets not have our caneshades on but Miami is a hard sell right now because of the media and how our coordinators and coaches have done us. Our offensive coordinator cant call a game to save his life and we all know what the defense is. So all we can sell kids on know is hope.

I believe a few recruits will come over but all the 5 star flips and stuff I just dont see. I really wanted to see some staff changes early but I have to trust richt because I dont know what recruit would commit here with D`NO being able to park in a coaches spot still. So lets wait it out and see.

once he gets the right staff into place things will change . Imo he must have it in place to hire somebody after the bowl games are over .
 
I don't think he'll be able to get anyone until after the season. Worst case is we're stuck with these losers (coaches) for one more year. Hopefully not but I have a feeling it could happen.

Trust me, dog. We won't be "stuck" with anyone for one more year. If he keeps anyone from the previous staff, it won't be because he didn't have a choice. Richt will put a staff together. When u spend 15 years as a HC at an SEC school, u have connections with people in the NCAA and the NFL. Amateur night is over, homie. Have patience and watch.
 
I expect the class to be better than what Golden would of gotten but not as good as what Richt can do. Next year he will have a full year recruiting from the school with his staff.

I would also expect some players to come to Miami once the new staff is released. Be it players who were at the school the staff member came from and wanted to work with that staff member at their position or that they were kind of interested in Miami before but much more so with a better and more high profile staff.

The other thing I am really hopeful for is for us to get over the hump and beat FSU. Two years ago we should have locked that game away but we let up. Last year we were close but it seemed a little bit more of them making mistakes and not keeping it together. Either way this another big thing to look forward to.

Nope, all the other coachs on the current staff get the boot Monday morning and whoever is left is Richts choosing

Why can't anybody be patient? **** its obvious he's going to let the coaches coach one more game out of respect and you would think he has his coaches ready for next week to come right in time for the stretch.
 
Going to take a while. Need to show we can have a decent team. After that, recruits should take notice.
 
Patience is key. Richt hasn't even been here a month, with no staff, during dead period and still got Bethel to commit and McCloud to recommit. Plus he already made a couple home run hires ,yet somehow people still aren't satisfied.
 
I agree. I think people's expectations of this class are too high. This year, these high recruits are only interested in Miami cause of mark richt but none of them will come because we have been recruiting them for like 2 weeks.
