Now that the first domino fell
It’s pretty much guaranteed that manny is gone
Let’s say we somehow land Mario
What would u expect first year 10 wins?
And if he doesn’t win the acc by year 2 how do we treat him ? Is he a corch ?

Man you're jumping way ahead there. But the easy answer is unless there's wholesale transferring of our most talented younger players and least one of the wonderkid QBs are around and healthily the expectations will and should be pretty high. If it's Mario they'll be sky high.

9-3 I expect to lose to A and M and Clemson. Both on the road and then drop one random coastal game. This might get us a rematch vs clemson though. I think 9-3 is realistic and fair.

I can see a scenario where the new AD evaluates Manuela for a season then decides.

I can see a scenario where he is relieved of his duties before year's end.


Think about this: new AD tells BoT "I can work with Manny to try and fix it, if not, I can him. next year and we save x, y, z dollars and we go after......"

It'll all depend on how fast he can fix the trenches. And he's gotta upgrade S & C considerably.
 
All first year coaches deserve a break (not the losing to FIU kind of break) as they may be drastically shifting schemes and personnel. Year 2 and 3 is when you look for success. If he isn’t competing for the coastal by 2 and 3 then be worried.
