With announcement of TR to Miami staff, what are the realistic expectations for improvement?

Will he match Justice's impact on OL?

Our DBs are not horrible. There’s just absolutely no depth at CB right now. He’s got a ton of talent at safety. Recruiting at CB is priority #1.

I suspect better chemistry and communication in the secondary. Less broken assignments, less guys running wide open in the secondary. One coach for the dbs is the best thing in my opinion. I see Blades taking a major jump due to his aggressiveness and TRob's style is aggression. Tecory will take it to the next level cuz he's aggressive as well as more confident than all of the dbs at this point. I see the safeties being consistent as well as Hall losing his position. Better recruiting, much more competition, and making the wr's play improve due to iron sharpening iron.

I like he’s coaching all the DBs. There’s so much safety depth he will figure out how to get the best guys on the field. Don’t be surprised to see a guy or two labeled as a safety now playing nickel or even on the boundary next season. Tae would be a prime example.

The dude's already a monster recruiter and he can sell CB's on playing next to possibly the best safety room in the country, in Miami, in (hopefully) an aggressive and predominantly man coverage oriented defense.

I believe he exceeds it simply because the overall talent he has to work with in the DB room is far greater than what Justice had to work with.

I fully expect to see one or two All ACC guys come next season.

I just like that he comes in with a clean slate and no allegiance to any of these DB’s on the roster. Best way to motivate returning starters that aren’t playing well enough, is to bring in a guy who don’t give a **** about last year. The player you are right now and going forward, is the only thing that matters. Earn your ******* spot or someone else will. Don’t like it, there’s a portal for that. Bye *****.

All 3 of Ivey, Couch, and Blades have had moments of extremely high play. I think all 3 can be pretty solid players. Problem is, what the **** is behind them? If 1 or more go down, we’re screwed. Need a good portal CB bad. Someone to push them.
