I'm not sure if you noticed, but after ESPN aired the 30/30 on USC, they ran the U and the U part 2 twice in the last couple of days.

I know they went hard on us, well Al Golden, on Game Day. They, too, have a contract with the ACC and us being good again does nothing but put more money in their pockets. Wondering if they are slyly pushing their own agenda to get Al gone from Miami as well. If you hear any commentation of our games on ESPN, they are pretty much bashing Golden and how undisciplined we are.

Speaking of the U part 2, any fan who doesn't want Butch back here is an idiot, period. Look at Butch's players vs. Coker's players vs. Randy's players vs. Golden's players. The further we get away from Butch era, the further we get away from who the Canes were. Also, our jersey's looked much, much better then, then they do now.

I always thought ESPN had the Canes on National Television to broadcast the payback for 25 years of being relevant.

The one common denominator from all but the first championship......the recruiting, evaluations, development, attitude, swagger, resilience, perseverance and all the above....is BUTCH MUTHA****IN DAVIS *****ES!!

The question is not whether Botch is the answer but whether the administration will offer him, with the answer being; probably not.

If you run a network you care about advertising $$$ and ratings. I am sure they would not want us to destroy the SEC but a Miami in the playoff makes for more ratings than a second SEC team. If you want a global audience, there are two team you want around toward the end: Miami and ND.

This. Let's be honest, FSU is still little brother and the back up chick. Miami is still the good guy for their fans and the bad guy for those who ain't our fans...which is great for ratings. Ppl used to tune to either see us win or lose. Either way, the networks were winning. Now? Now ppl don't tune in at all. I'm sure ESPN has a low key hidden agenda.

Not buying ESPN conspiracy theories. If they had it in for Fraulden they'd be hitting him hard. They have enough clout to get him fired, all by themselves.
