I know our offense is inconsistent. but those espn announcers were nick picking everything we did wrong on offense. They just dont want us in the playoff race. When we made a play or scored a touch down quick nice comment and then back to hateing. Were fighting the opponent, refs and media

I muted the ESPN guys. That's what happens when you play a 1-7 team on a noon game. Those guys were bottom of the barrel idiots.

Defintiely seemed like they had an axe to grind, wasn’t hiding it at all

We always played better when everyone was against us. This is a good thing. No more piety like the Golden years. The fear is growing; you can tell by the hate.

The bias is real, and if you don’t believe it you’re a moron.

OP is on-point.

Ive never seen announcers showing replays in an effort to have penalty reviews enacted. Very bizarre.

The year we played OSU in the Porter Fiesta Bowl OSU played an entire crappy season on close wins (some against scrub teams). And look what happened.

The disappointment in their voices when Johnson recovered that fumble to seal the game was delicious.

I disagree.

I took it as them having higher expectations of us (which we want and which they should) and being disappointed in our offense for letting our team down...which it absolutely did. We're No. 8 and they were viewing our play through that lens. If we had a losing record and were an afterthought, do you really think they'd be "out to get us" then? It comes with the territory of being No. 8, one of only a few remaining undefeated teams, etc. Not to mention the context of the first playoff rankings coming out this week. It's evaluation time.

In fact, I pretty much agreed with everything they said, if not at least the general sentiment. I'm not gonna sit here and get mad at someone for saying exactly what I'm thinking about my own team.

Blah, blah, blah.

We barely beat the UNC marching band today.

Anyone at ESPN or any other network deriding the play of Miami should be.

Absolutely uninspiring football.

If they can't get it together quickly, the next two weekends will be messy.

If you thought the espn guys were ****s,
You should look at the gameday discussion thread.

We are allegedly the #8 team in the country in a dogfight with a 1-7 bottom feeder.

The ESPN announcers were calling our crappy play for what it was.

Nor did they focus on our negatives. As one example, they were slobbering over the turnover chain. Also, they repeatedly mentioned our “championship caliber defense.”

But the fact is we didn’t put ourselves at #8 all we can do is beat the teams we play. We’re also not running around proclaiming how great we are. Everything we do is looked at through a microscope.
