ESPN Top 100 players 2022

Am I the only one who Ty tackled rather well last season? Or was it just relative to who was on the field with him lol
He did later in the season, but for much of the season he was mostly throwing his shoulder at the ballcarrier without wrapping up. I remember yelling at my tv many times when he would do that!

the Anthony Richards stuff is just amazing.... are they magically basing stuff on his HS ability and potential?? and not based on ANY kind of ACTUAL CFB play????
That ranking is fair imo. He's big and athletic and looked decent in a small sample size last year. He also fits what Napier likes to do on offense so he should put up good numbers too.

I watched multiple Kentucky games last year & I just kept thinking, “This kid plays like Andy Dalton..”

I think what’s gotten him so much hype is the fact that he operated in Liam Coen’s Offense last year which is a Pro-style McVay Offense, which means he understands the verbiage & audibles etc, so scouts get really excited about that.

Also, a lot of Pro scouts actually prefer the boring bland formulaic robotic type QB’s over the wild improvisational Gun-slinger or the Athletics runners. They like QB’s who will run the Offense exactly the way the Coaches want as oppose to QB’s who may take more risks. He’s a Captain Checkdown IMO & for a lot of Scouts/GM’s/Coaches etc that’s exactly what they’re looking for.

But in terms of raw arm talent & decision making, Idk he looks regular AF to me lol
He has wheels which is the hottest commodity for a QB rn.

For some QB’s it is...

I mean Malik Willis had wheels too & it used against him as the reason why so many teams dropped him lol

And Levis only rushed for 376yds on 107 attempts last year, that’s not really setting the world on fire as a Running QB, he definitely is mobile, but he’s not a special runner like a Josh Allen or anything.
Definitely has more Daniel Jones to him. I think Willis dropped because something off field.

Why would it surprise some? We haven't gotten the same quality of players anymore.....u can see the results in the league. Recruit the monsters and this list will change eventually

People usually point to the amount of players we've had drafted, but they're largely Day 3 guys. It's Day 1 & 2 guys that move the needle, and what we need more of. If Mario can consistently kill it in recruiting we'll start to see a change.

Facts day 2 and 3 guys on your roster and u losing 3-6 games any given year

The way I think about it is - No NFL Team would ever trade a 1st Rd pick for 3 4th Rd picks, right?

It's not the best analogy, but the point is - 1 Great Player is worth more than 3 Above Average Players

I know one way we can show them they've underrated our guys.

He may regress this year with the new coach as well...
