Virginia (6-4, 3-3) at No. 3 Miami (9-0, 6-0), noon, ABC

Hale: This has let-down game written all over it, so don't be surprised if the Hoos keep it close. But Mark Richt knows how much is at stake here, and while Miami has been dominant the past two weeks, none of that will matter if the Canes falter against Virginia. Miami 24, Virginia 21

Adelson: Most people will tune in to see how Miami handles a team it should beat after two emotional wins over Virginia Tech and Notre Dame, at noon no less. Still, a near-sellout crowd is expected, and Miami still has plenty of motivation. Just look at the latest College Football Playoff rankings. Miami 31, Virginia 21

this does have all the makings of a "let down" but they both picked us to win... hopefully we don't sleep walk through the beginning of the next two noon games.

Miami's gonna get punished for sleepwalking into that UNC game all year long.

I fully expect the team to be absolutely murderous after being ranked behind Clemson.

I don't think we sleepwalk through this game. Senior day, a spot in the college football playoff at stake, and an experienced coach who knows what's at stake — everything sets up for us to, at the very least, cover the spread.

We win by 4 tds minimum. To chain comes out 4 times Again and we roll. Uva ain't ready for the humidity and that crowd.

This thread has taken a pretty odd turn.

For those who missed it, the point is that the "experts" have been picking against Miami the past couple of weeks and we all saw how that worked out. Now that Miami is playing an unranked team, they can't really pick against the Canes, so they're picking the game as close as possible.

In other words, they still aren't convinced.

I️ actually am looking forward to seeing how Miami handles this game.

Not prime time. Our DC tweeted all the checks out as if our goals have been completed this year (I️ know that’s not his point, I’m just noticing it). Everybody telling us we are awesome.

If they come out and execute for most of the game I’ll be quite happy. Just win and roll on.
