Espn: Bold Predictions Butch vs. Al

Someone in the Canes hierarchy planted this story. I don't think Butch or his agent did; that would be too obvious. I think this might be the beginning of the Long Goodbye for Golden.

Or a firing if the Canes are upset by FAU

can't recall what thread i said this in, but all the slurpers saying that butch coming here is a pipe dream, definitely take "pipe" at night. donna is gone! there's no coincidence that butch has been in so. fla a lot more often lately; that he's a weekly feature over local radio airways. the U part 2 did more damage to golden than he can ever comprehend. it called out the admin too. these freggin' kids are talking about butch again. scarlett said via twitter, you want me, get butch. it's not far-fetched at all. will it happen? that remains to be seen, but to think there is 0 chance of him coming here is inaccurate at best. smoke is flying all throughout coral gables and now national media is beginning to pick up on it.

If we don't get Butch, the commentators are indicating that Miami's normal access to top 305 and other recruits are all but over in 2016, regardless of the "early" commits we've gotten to hold their spots.

We have to fire Golden early. Can't wait until December to start doing a coaching search. A number of schools will be in the hunt for a new coach.

We need to grab Butch, grab him early, and let him start stacking athletes. Real athletes.

the early recruitment is fool's gold. we started at no. 1 and now we've slumped to no. 9. we've had the most de-commits already out of all the schools in the POWER5. Our no. 9 spot is based upon the shear size of the early commits. but, these kids, including mr. bruce, will bounce if golden is retained. the fence is gone [MENTION=592]UMFarArcher[/MENTION]. only someone of butch's caliber will be able to save swag16.
 
Canes could hire Butch tonight, as coach-in-waiting, taking over recruiting; HC on December 1. We'd have an INCREDIBLE recruiting class.

Would the embarrassment cause Fraulden to fold? Probably not.
