"Over the edge: If that combo excels this season, partial credit goes to Greg Rousseau. The freshman defensive end roasted the right tackles (including former first-stringer George Brown Jr.) for four sacks and seven tackles in last week’s scrimmage, exposing weaknesses to the point “we could hardly get a ball off,” Richt said. The coach wanted to “temper” expectations about Rousseau, from Hialeah-Champagnat. But he believes the “6-6, if not 6-7,” 225-pound defensive end can play a role this fall."

“If you put a grown man, who’s a third- or fourth- or fifth-year tackle, who’s a baller in our league, he’s probably going to have a rough time with that cat at the beginning,” Richt said. “In time, he’s going to be something special.”

Love those quotes from Richt. Shooting straight from the hip.

Gentlemen (using this term loosely), it’s a great day when our HC is backing up reports we’ve been getting about this freak.

Best part of that article is that Rick thinks Searels may have found the right personnel grouping for the O-line. It will be interesting to see how the QBs look in the Spring Game if the protection is better.

Wow! This not watching film thing just won't go away and it never will for anyone wanting to be an excellent QB ( per the article)

My Gawd!! You'd think that a QB would've learned that long ago before becoming a 5th year RS Senior!!

OH Dear Lord please help us!!!

I can't wait till we finally get someone in with skills that wants and takes the Cane's QB position as seriously as its coaches and many fans do
