No, go get a real coach. Enough fooling around
If that's the case, than get rid of the headcoach, but as long as the experimental diaz(another headcoach from temple) is here, along with blake baker, there is no justifiable reason why ed reed shouldn't be the next safeties coach here unless this program is still satisfied with just being's mediocre and not dominant, which is another reason they didnt go after terrence lewis like they really wanted him, they still with the bullshat recruiting games like we dont know!

Anyone who can teach defensive discipline, can adjust when the same play kills us over & over & most of all puts our athletes in position to showcase athleticism & make splash plays.

Buddy Ryan is dead, right?

He wouldn't be the worst hire in the world as a safeties coach after being around the program for the last season. He's a proven leader of men and champion HOFer who's excelled at all levels of football. If Ed Reed is the least "experienced" coach on Manny's defensive staff that's not a bad thing at all. The question is if Ed wants the lifestyle or not? I see him as someone who loves being around the game and I think he would take to coaching naturally if the fit was right. One potential problem is the coaching dynamic and how you fit someone with his pedigree in as a position-coach answering to anyone..

Jess Simpson seemed to have the personality, acumen and organizational skills to be DC & pull that type of thing off. If Manny was willing to do that he'd be smart to bring on Alonzo in some developmental capacity as well. Show some real organizational awareness and build a dream staff that he could learn something from and warrants giving him an extension.
