Williams can throw a dime. Had a couple misses, but this guy is our most accurate QB since Kaaya. But he is going to finish with a much better career then Kaaya. Very excited about this kid.

OL is really starting to gel. Yes this was BCU. But they look night and day better then game 1. Remember when we could not get a push against Savannah State last year? This OL is bigger and stronger and really coming together. It is a shame that Clark did not come along faster. With this starting lineup we could have beat Florida. Future looks good there.

WR starting to show me something. No more of the constant dropped balls. Aggressiveness after the catch. Running hard on jet sweeps. ****, Wiggins looked like he shot out of a cannon on his run. Now I want to see continued reliability game after game.

Hodges, TE U tradition continues. Good looking young buck there.

Defense dominated all game. Still have some holes in the secondary. Those young guys will get better. Really look forward to seeing what Bolden brings to the table. We need a rangy safety big time.

Looks like we finally have a punter. Cannot remember the last time we continually won field position and pinned a team deep.

Baxa - get the backup ready. You can see it in his eyes that he shook. Something I never understood about Baxa, on his extra points he mainly pushes them to the right side. Rarely do they go right up the middle. If you can't kick an extra point cosistently up the middle then surely you are going to have issues on longer kicks. Well we see that happening now.

Every positive stat against B-C should be heavily discounted.

Great post but just remember all that positive stuff you posted was against a glorified HS team...CMU will be better next week so hopefully we can dominate the same way..

Team is one 4th and 17 from putting together seven straight solid quarters on both sides of the ball.

Still a lot to work on but there’s been an obvious improvement in execution across the board. Need to keep that same trajectory all the way through this five game home stand.

Biggest concern is obviously kicking. Baxa is going to cost us more games if we can’t get him right.

LOL, we finally play decently and still the boo birds come out. Listen, we got the 1st of many W’s today. Was it perfect? Well they had 0pts but I get ya; things still need working. But give the kids some props for scoring 8 **** TD’s tonight.

it's not the boo birds.

beating up B-C is no measuring stick for even average ACC teams.

i just remember savannah state last year and how we looked like we were strugglin

This looked hands down better and much more impressive

The next games will tell if this was truly the start of something nice

every corch of the last 18 years has obliterated

huh?

We looked mostly horrible, and every single coach we have had during this Corch Run has killed that team.
