RS received a new 4 year contract in May, 2010. He was fired in 2010 with 3 years left on his contract.

Al received an extension in 2012 through 2020. He has 5 years left on his contract.

You know what information is missing. The buyout amount.

Bingo. Only numbers that matter are #wins that meet expectations (doubt seven does it) and the cost to replace.

without knowing for sure, I am betting a pretty penny there is quite a bit of difference considering Randy was an underpaid coach when he was here, and they were pulling out all the stops to keep Al here, but it would be speculation on my part.

Whoever GAVE Al he extension, should have to pay his buyout!

And everyone who went along with it either fired or forced to forego their BOT status.
