He'd have to have a Barry Sanderish year to win it. QBs have won every year since 2000, except 1, (Ingram). It's a tough road for a running back to win. Mcgahee had one of the greatest seasons ever for a running back, and came in 4th.

He is. But there is a tactical way to go about it. College Football isn't really in the news cycle yet. You don't want to fire your bullets too early. Like I said, its a little soon, especially for a guy coming off an injury. If he starts fast you will see it build.
 
He has the talent and potential to put up the numbers, but in order to do so he's going to have to play entire games for the entire season.

He can't leave half way through the first quarter one game and then halftime the next game.

IIRC, when he was injured in the FSU game last year he lead the nation in all-purpose yards per game. Even with missing 3.5 quarters in the NC game, almost half of the FSU game, and a majority of the Savannah State game after getting hurt.

IF you factor in his yards based off 8 games (which he really only played about 6) he still ranked 4th in the nation.
