Fines, Moten and Johnson gone. Tyreic Martin and Jon ford have yet to prove themselves. Can we count on Gerald willis ? Chad thomas played dt on passing downs. Does this mean Norton and Mcintosh are coming back? if not we are in Trouble. What is wrong with these kids. We will only be back when these kids stop inflating their abilities and buy into the word team. Richt has to grow a pair and stop letting kids back out of commitments
We aren't elite at DT with Norton and McIntosh. If you just watch Alabama play Clemson and the game against Wisky you'd know that. They need to really hit the weights this offseason to be elite. I think they might have the talent but they aren't strong enough. McIntosh has a small upper body for a Junior. Norton hasn't gotten much bigger except in his belt size since he got here.
Kool is elite at coaching DE's but I question his ability to coach the DT positions. Ford is by far the most imposing DL by the eye test on the team. That's saying a lot considering he's a true Frosh. Garvin and DJ had more snaps then Ford this season. Either Bethel is much better than most think or Ford is Tarzan that plays Jane. I tend to believe that's a coaching issue. Ford's HS tape didn't look like Jane.
