Along with being “business trips” we need to schedule home and home with schools that are in recruiting hotbeds. After all, we are best when we keep local talent home, and cherry pick top kids from elsewhere.
McMaster University. McMaster is in Canada, maybe Ian Sinclair and Richard Mercier have some sons or grandsons that we can recruit to play OL. Or get some hockey players that Sears can covert into lineman before he goes bankrupt. Hockey players can grab cloth and punch people in the face with the best of them, sounds like an OLineman to me.
Bowdoin. Bowdoin is in Maine. I like Maine (also, see above reference to hockey players). I would go to that away game.
American Samoa Junior College. I think we should dip into the Pacific rim for D Lineman. This strategy is way past due. I don’t know why Manny hasn’t pushed for this, he’s a madman. There are plenty of islands in the South Pacific that are teeming with guys who are big and tough, and probably dont have any means of modern communication so they haven’t heard of our recent troubles and who also can’t be reached by Nick Saban’s helicopter. I think it’s a win/win.
