DRE Gone.

Has been rumored for a while (along with sherman and manu) but I thought he might stick it out just because he is a local kid. This is the best move for both parties, I am not mad at all. Deandre should be a true senior this upcoming year and still shows the Bball IQ of a middle schooler. Combine that with his inconsistency and the writing was on the wall. He also did nothing to seperate himself from Palmer, Newton, or Manu.

I do not believe sherman is going to transfer just passing along the info

I always tell kids, you don't make the papers playing defense, you make the papers shoot'n the rock. DeAndre Burnett just gets it!

Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is going on?????!!!!

Transfers are just a major part of NCAAB these days. Kids only have 4 years of eligibility and want to play. Cant blame them at all. We are a victim of our own abundunce of talent at the Guard spot. Just not enough minutes for everybody.

Why would Sherman leave???

I was told he wanted more touches. I still do not expect him to leave.

So he would seriously sit out an entire year to transfer somewhere else all because he wanted "more touches" as a freshman?

Some of these guys have a real sense of entitlement.

That is why I believe he stays and he played well in the Final four of the NIT.

The same goes for Burnett though. If it's playing time he wants, he would absolutely get it next year (especially now with Lecomte gone).

Instead, he's going to have to sit out ANOTHER year in order to MAYBE get more playing time somewhere else.

It makes no sense to me. I think a lot of these kids get horrible advice.

Dre still likely wasnt getting starter mins consitently next year. In the right system on maybe a less talented team he could be the man.

Disagree on Burnett. With Palmer and Newton progressing and Lawrence coming in I do not think he wouldve gotten more time. In addition to that, Burnett should be a true senior next year. If he could not pass the younger players while he was much older w/ more experience I don't think it was going to come in the next three years.
