It's not just grade issues with him. Physically he is a beast but he never has showed it that well on the field. Maybe at Champagnat he can show more but I wouldn't expect an offer to him from us.

I didnt know a kid with a 2.5 GPA and honor courses would be considered a grade problem. Grimes is a big time player who will play at a BCS school next year.

Why are all of these Down south players heading up north to play ball now (Devonaire Clarington, D Davis, A Grimes, the other Wr- Antonio Callaway- Homestead ? is there something going with the coaches in the south all of sudden?

Clions **** you, ***** made ***.

I wish you was in Baltimore with all that slick talk.

This is almost as funny as them saying Travonte could get into Stanford..

Everyone knows kids are flocking to Champagnat bc they boost grades. Let's be real.

No that's not the case with Grimes. He wanted to go to a school that could help him get to the next level because it wasn't happening at South Dade. There was a lot of talent on that team last year that wasn't getting recruited but should have been. Biggie is one of those kids and I wish he would have transferred last year but he wanted to be part of a state title team so now he was scrambling to get to the right school and as a senior it's a lot harder at most private schools and even public schools to use a magnet program as a way of getting there

Really just laughing at the having a 2.5 taking honors classes comment. I can pull some random gpa's out of thin air and say insert player here doesn't have grade issues. Like travonte saying he didn't have enough classes last year and still had to take an extra class a couple months before signing day is a problem.

I specifically don't know his case but I was hoping he had what the coaches wanted so he can be a cane. I mean F*** he's Jamal's brother.

The recruiting aspect of it I understand even though he's got some offers. Maybe not to big schools but he's got options. But chasing a state championship? South Dade won state last year.. ???

Nevermind didn't understand that part had to re-read it... So you think he's not getting recruited like he's supposed to bc he's at South Dade? And not being developed correctly?

I am just going by what numerous players there have told me how they feel and then if you look at this years seniors, Brady and Worton did a lot of the work themselves as far as recruiting is concerned but there were others on that team that should have had a better opportunity than what they ended up with.

As far as Biggie is concerned I have known him for a long time and would do anything to help him out so I am glad he is at a school that will help him get to the next level and I look forward to continue watching his journey.

You are no Einstein with 2.5 that is for sure. If he didnt have grade problems then, he will have them at Champagnat. He wont learn a thing at that school and it will hurt him in college

I talked to him at Dolphins 7-on-7. Says he isn't even hearing from Miami. Wants to leave the state for college.
