The man is literally a few blocks away. Little Richt can serve water with mommy or carry equipment as I feel that is the most he is qualified to do. Dorsey should have been the 10th coach. Now is the time to end the nepotism and bring someone in that can break down an opponent and knows what the **** he is doing when it comes to QBs.

do we think that someone of Dorsey's caliber would seriously want to be under Richt and be part of this sh*t show ?

Dorsey would be an awesome hire. He's intelligent, would scheme well and could really help groom the young QBs. CMR needs to swallow his pride for the good of the Offense and the program. Dorsey is a great fit.

I guess that all depends on your opinion of Butch and FIU. I see it as a win-win for both Richt and Dorsey down the road. He was waiting for the call until we announced our 10th hire.

When you consider what Dorsey did for Cam Newton and the Panthers, it's almost a dream too good to come true. QB coach (the position he held with Panthers and others) is an extra longshot since you know who is in that position. And I assume he is still asst. athletic director at FIU. Some sort of "special consultant", maybe future heir to Richt when Richt becomes AD, would be my realistic hope. Or am I dreaming?

That’s kind of what I meant by win-win down the road but definitely QB coach and hopefully more.

Heck yeah Dorsey would in a heart beat. Butch has him breaking down film right now as his day job and in Dorsey's off hours he is fund raising for FIU telling stories about his UM days an how FIU can get there too.

Go Canes

Dorsey would be great he helped Cam in Carolina take the next step towards being elite. He could deff help our young guys

He's Asst AD at FIU.....Only way Kenny would come is with Butch....Very close & Loyal to Butch....

Dorsey wants to be an AD and not a coach. Why is this so difficult to understand?

If an NFL team called him today to come coach QBs, he'd quit that FIU job in a nanosecond. He would be willing to listen if UM came calling too.

You think it is distance that makes it easy to hire someone? Kendal Briles was on exit 45, maybe that was too far?

Is he good enough to be an oc at Miami? What are his tendacies he likes to do calling plays and how good was he at Carolina with cam newton?

Honestly I would Like Kendall briles to be the offensive coordinator here, it will be an amazing site to see at Miami but obviously you would have to do a thorough vetting process of his involvement if any of what occurred at Baylor for sure.

Anyone who is confident in their ability to run an offense would want to come imo. Who wouldn’t want to coach the offense at Miami with all the playmakers in our back yard and with a complementary defense like we currently have. Could you imagine how good our team would be with our d and an Oklahoma type o!

Ken Dorsey is not an Offensive Coordinator. Stop it. And he was an above average QB Coach..at best.
