Donna Shalala attack ad

Meh, the Shapiro thing wasn't on her. Slimy *** Nevin showed up and handed her a check, which UM returned. She'd never get my vote, but she had nothing to do with probation, in my opinion. Fault crappy hires, not a returned check.
 
Donna was great for the school, but was AWFUL for the sports programs and specifically the football team.

Wasn’t it the board of trustees that basically set the budget for coaching hires? Pretty sure Donna wasn’t running the athletic department as much as some like to think. I’d never vote for her, but the ad is just garbage.

I booed. If I'd had a water bottle, I would have thrown it on the field, but Donna ain't worth tossing a beer.
 
IIRC the NCAA could have come down harder on The U for the Shapiro scandal. Donna stared down the NCAA and the NCAA blinked. Like her or not, she's in deep with the Clinton Cartel and that's not by being weak.

She was waddingly own the road to punishment hand in hand with ncaa when they hit her with lack of institutional control. That was squarely on her and then and only then did she start acting tough. Even then if was the ncaa’ s internal scandal that saved us, not that short fat crook.

She was cold hard horrible on all levels. I started doing M&A on The Street straight out of law school. She massively overpaid for her health acquisitions. Given her history of laying with crooks, I assume the reason for the over pricing was the under the table payoffs she pocketed.

This is about the trustees INFINITELY MORE than the school President.

Y'all need to learn something about college administration before opening your mouths on it.

I'm not a Shalalalala supporter but making her the scapegoat for Miami's troubles is beyond ignorant.
