It’s time to take the focus off the kid who isn’t a Miami caliber qb and put the focus on the guy making millions of dollars to coach him. And the son who’s only in his position because of his last name.

It’s year three and we’re still rolling out Maweak, Richt hasn’t fixed the position. And honestly it doesn’t look like either Richt has coached up the position.

I know it’s frustrating watching Maweak but he’s not rolling himself out there. It’s not his fault.

he sure enjoyed being on scholarship for 3 years before realizing that he actually had to try to be a starting qb. he never should've been on the roster in the first place because he's an fcs-level qb, but rosier didn't do **** to improve himself for the majority of his career.

that certainly doesn't absolve richt and richt for our current qb woes, but that blame goes both ways.

Only one is a professional and paid millions. Richt is pay a wonderful salary to bring in a guy to take the spot , or for heavens sake coach up the guys he has.

Richt is using a career backup from the last staff as his starter.

i don't disagree, but i think that blame in this situation is 50-50 between the player and the staff.

Problem with the coaching and managing of the QB position is that if the 3 freshman QBs are not up to par, its a problem since we are NOT recruiting a top notch QB (as of now) for this cycle. That means a grad transfer for a year or so in 2019 and wait for some of the 2020 studs we are after to commit and be developed by say 2021/22.

Why hate anybody, the player has to play and for ten weeks Malik played great. The last four he has lost it, for some reason. You blame the coach, that had him going strong? Sometimes it's on the player.

Malik didn't play great for 10 weeks. Win/loss record isn't a proper gauge to judge QBs by.

Does anyone walk up to boss a say, fire me because I am not worthy of this job? Rosier is not Miami level QB but he took us father than anyone since Ken by vastly overachieving. He was all he can be, it just isn’t good enough. It is not his fault Mark’s son has not gotten a Miamii level QB in three years. Heck his dad wasn’t one so maybe the kid doesn't know what one looks like.

Nah fck 12, I get the skepticism behind Richt but I’m not gonna fully hate him until I see what he can do with Perry or Jarren, Malik Rosier tho can get off this team
