Totally agree. Just saying he at least tried. I should rescind what I said after saying he made all the right moves. That's was in fact incorrect.

The one move that he was the most sure about, is the one that basically cost him his job. He bet on himself to be the DC. He rolled the dice, and ....Snake eyes to the loser.
