I mean, he is from the Belichik tree and that's how they get down. Shoot, the only reason he was able to become a HC is bc he was promoted from within the Patriots organization,

But that said, this is a little disappointing. Clearly reeks of the guy he wanted not coming, but I'm not sure that's what even happened.
