The game announcers reported Richt told them he though we did.

They also mentioned Richt as a having the reputation as a "Quarterback Whisperer." But they were skeptical the U has the QB in the system they need, after calling this game.

Even the one guy who kept talking about the drops, and Perry doing all he could, was skeptical. And why wouldn't they be? A lot of people begged for a change at the QB position the last two seasons. Suspensions may have played a role, but the play we've gotten when they were in, also tells the story why we didn't see it - we were hoping to draw an Ace and only had deuces.

It had to be a stark reality after watching that defensive effort.

Wonder if Richt has any relationship with Georgia QB Fields. I think he transfers at the end of the year. Yes he has to sit one year, but would love to have him.

We have to hope he agrees to stick around long enough to get a shot to prove it. Sitting behind Perry for 3 years won't happen, IMO. Nor should it if it doesn't get WAY better than we've seen so far.

I'm sure Williams will get a fair chance to win the job in the spring. Perry had a lot of drops from his receivers this year, but he also missed on a lot of throws as well. If Williams is as great as many on here say he is, he should win the job.
