I am not a Zone read expert but I know there are many types Oregon and Auburn.
I'm curious as to how much Armstrong actually runs. We need to declare if we are going to stuff the box and make him beat us with his arm. Mcneese St. proved we can get him with our defensive backs. There will be interceptions available. Can we go into Lincoln and force Armstrong to throw a few ducks our way?

Yeah, it's a part of our offense. Armstrong isn't a burner, but he runs like a 220 lb tailback. Tough runner. He'll probably run it about 10 times, he's averaging 86 ypg so far this year. He has locked on to receivers, so there may be a couple opportunities for INTs. On the other hand, he will make you pay with his arm a few times if you load the box. He's a decent vertical passer, and we're not shy about throwing it down field. It's actually the timing and footwork on the shorter passes he seems to struggle with.

watching the highlights of fau and mcneese st he does have a good arm and will kill us on the read option if we dont contain.

So what you're telling me is Armstrong has trouble throwing short passes to the wide open guy in the middle of field, 5 yards in front him? WE GOT THIS!!!
