After seeing the results from yesterday's poll overwhelmingly opposed to Cristobal, let's see what the majority thinks about Chud.

He was my first choice two years ago, but now I think we need Butch -- to much damage by Al. But if Chud can get Butch to take DC and recruiter than **** yes.
 
Highly doubt this poll gets anywhere near as many votes as Cristobal's since there's so much vehement opposition to Mario. Chud certainly doesn't seem to be a popular candidate either, though.

Another boring unqualified candidate only being considered because he once had an office in the Hecht.
 
No. He is slightly a step above Mario in terms of how bad of a hire he would be. There's no reason he's mentioned other than he's a "Miami guy."

The defense that most often comes out in discussions involving Chud is that he didn't deserve to be fired after one year in Cleveland. Which is fair. It's similar to people saying Cristobal shouldn't have been fired at FIU and I can understand that.

The problem, though, is what can you point to on his resume to make a case that he'd be great for Miami? Some can say he was screwed over in Cleveland all they want, but where is the success? One year as a head coach at any level in his entire life and went 4-12. Hates recruiting and is a complete unknown as an evaluator. Hasn't coached at the collegiate level in over a decade. Bland, boring personality who isn't a stark contrast from Golden as a leader of men.

Hard pass, IMO.
 
Only being considered because of UM ties. Chud is an X's and O's guy that hates recruiting and Mario is nothing but a recruiter that's never even been a coordinator and was a below avg head coach. Both ******* suck and shouldn't be considered. NO OTHER P5 program is looking at these two. I really hope the Colts somehow win out and they keep Chud and Mario gets hired by UCF.

Couldn't agree more. Chud, Cristobal, and Schiano are never brought up as possibilities for any other current vacancy except for ours. It's maddening that their names keep getting thrown around for the UM job.

Not fond of this because he'll bolt to be waterboy for some NFL team at the first chance. Slightly less vomit-inducing than Mario, Coley or Monkey Boy, but still very weak.
