The defense that most often comes out in discussions involving Chud is that he didn't deserve to be fired after one year in Cleveland. Which is fair. It's similar to people saying Cristobal shouldn't have been fired at FIU and I can understand that.
The problem, though, is what can you point to on his resume to make a case that he'd be great for Miami? Some can say he was screwed over in Cleveland all they want, but where is the success? One year as a head coach at any level in his entire life and went 4-12. Hates recruiting and is a complete unknown as an evaluator. Hasn't coached at the collegiate level in over a decade. Bland, boring personality who isn't a stark contrast from Golden as a leader of men.
Hard pass, IMO.
