My Dreams have been crushed ! I now have to take another route, I wish I could run a route for any football team ! This one hurts!

I saw something yesterday on another site that he has grade issues. Sounds like he may not be making it into Miami.
 
Grades or age related?

Just hope it's not too late for him to get his academic situation straightened out. (If that's what its about)
 
That doesn't look good. It just goes to show to not get too up or down over any one recruit, especially with this staff (not saying in this case, but in general). Mullins was as strong a commit as we had and it just proves that you never know.
 
Well, im not sure if this is what this is all about, but according to his 24/7 profile, right now, he is 18 years old and 10 months.

He's almost 19 years old. If I remember correctly, Kelvin Benjamin wasnt able to play the last few games of his senior season and he was younger than Dionte.

The Florida High School Athletic Association does not allow students to participate in athletics once they hit the age of 19 years, 9 months. Benjamin will reach that limit in November, after the Raiders’ eighth regular season game.

He's a kid from Miami who appears to genuinely love UM. Something had to go horribly wrong, of course.
 
Maybe he needs to sit this HS year out and focus on getting his grades in order if that is what the issue is. (has to be. He hasn't reached the age limit yet) He had his chance to live out his HS dream and try to help his team get to the playoffs..thats over now it looks like it. Don't let another dream go by the wayside..(Playing for UM)

It has, the new rule is you have to turn 19 ON, or AFTER September 1st, AND have not exceeded your four years of HS eligibility. Depending on when 24/7 last updated His profile, He might've aged out.

See the New NCAA Academis Requirements alot of kid will get shocked this year trying to make it past compliance. Read an article thar stated if the 2016 rules were in effect for 2015 34% of the kids would have been ineligible or mandatory academic redshirts
 
Can't remember who, but someone on Shadow's board posted a while back to not get your hopes up on this kid. Basically said there's no way he makes it in.

Good to know. I wish this kid and his family the best... They seem like good peeps!
