If Will Stein does what he’s expected to do with Gabriel who is a naturally better passer than Nix he won’t be in Oregon to coach after next season because some school will tab him as their next HC.

fins should have played out hsi option year and now are stuck with him for another year.

why we havent traded hill yet is beyond me. move him to a contender for a 2nd rounder and call it a day.
Tua would have sat the entire year in that scenario. No agent would have recommended him play, and he would have left with zero compensation as a free agent.

Where is the market for Hill? Hill has little value due to his contract and past incidents. Maybe a team will trade for him during the draft, but getting a 4th or 5th round pick for him at best (Right now) means trading him is less valuable than keeping him another year. I expect him to be on the team in 2025. I do expect the passing game to be more aligned towards Jalen Waddle in 2025 even if Hill is on the team.

Good take, although I think it’s his contract more than anything else. Teams will put up with a lot for somebody that produces, and even though he maybe has skirted the line, he’s never done anything really egregious that I can recall. Dolphins always seem to get stuck with these types of contracts. I mean they’re basically stuck with Tua , who has in my opinion, a low ceiling due to his physical limitations and injury history.

The phrase I always cherished.

“ It’s not the money , I’d play for free “
