The section was like 85% canes fans which was pretty cool... it was supposed to be our section after all (section 101 its adjacent to where the recruits usually sit).
I thought the concept was pretty wild.
For those who don't know what it is- basically its a marketplace where you buy an RSVP. During the season or prior, based on demand, the price goes up and down. You are just buying the RSVP. If your team makes the natty, you are guaranteed a ticket to the game.
I was looking back through my emails, I guess the mrs told me I should do it after the BC game. I personally left the Notre Dame game saying we are for sure a playoff team this year, but didn't think we would make the run. None the less, we went there and put down I guess $125 each for the RSVP, and forgot we did it.
How many others did this during the season? It felt like we were sitting in the section of the believers! It was crazy hearing the stories from those around us on how they got their tickets, what made them put down, because its a bet after all. We ended up getting two tickets face value, $875 each. Really no stress game week while everyone was trying to get a dame seat.
It is relatively low risk early because if we get knocked out, you can sell your RSVP to the teams which have a better chance at a run etc... but we held on. Was a fun time. Unfortunately saw that **** int right in front of us smh. What a ******* season. Sheesh.
Gonna do it again this year for sure. Anyways, discuss!
