I thought Diaz comments about the D-Line was very interesting. Without reading too much into the interview, it sounds l Ike he understands what he has in coach Kool and his ability to create havoc with the front 4. Of course, Diaz will continue to blitz, but maybe not as heavily as he has done in the past.

I personally believe that Diaz will adjust his defensive scheme to allow the front 4 to create pressure as opposed to blitzing majority of the time.

I am giving him a clean slate as far as his coaching history. I think he will do great things for UM. We have enough players on defense to where this is not an overhaul of the program. If they are serious about recruiting positions of need then he knows exactly what we will need defensively and between him and the rest of the defensive coaches we will have a decent defense in 2016.
