DIAZ TALKS QBS

Long way to go! but certainly based on reports the QB position should be a major improvement this year.

He needs to go @ this point
I think the 24 hour a day job was a shot at Perry. He has come across as a part time warrior since he got here, and that's not going to cut it in this O.

That being said, it's still a clean slate. I just think Perry lost a **** good chance to grab the job last year, and it's a lot harder to win it this year. Had he worked his butt off, he'd be the returning starter. Instead, he's just the guy that couldn't beat out Rosier when it was practically handed to him.

There certainly seems to be a whole new attitude in the program. I especially liked the comment about finding out about the toughness of your QB in March not October or November.

Great to hear Manny’s vision for the team, and how much toughness and physicality is going to play a role on the team starting this year. I say that because I truly believe those 2 aspects will not only make us a better football team, it also plays to when the outcome of a game is on the line, do you have what it takes to secure the victory collectively as 11 young men on a unit. Very excited Diaz is calling out some of the lesser tough guys and either showing them change, or showing them the door.

Good listen. Always enjoy Rose's interviews with Manny. Asks pointed questions in a subtle, tactful way. Manny's take on the portal was interesting.
