For those that are down on the hire and looking at Miss State's 2015 stats - don't you have to take into consideration who they played ?
- LSU, Auburn, TAMU, Bama, Ark, Mizz and Ole Miss
Yes LSU's O wasn't very impressive but my god look at those names .... and trust me, Miss State's recruiting rankings were well behind these teams
If 6 months ago I would have told you we are going to hire an experienced HC from the SEC, an experienced DC from the SEC, one of the most respected DL coaches from the SEC. We we have been a .500 program for a decade - to pull this off is nothing short of amazing
