Blame the athlete who actively recruited for us throughout his commitment.

Blame the athlete who was told by UM to "hold off on his commitment" while UM waited on a 5* running back, Jordan Scarlett to say yay or nay that he would be a Cane. Basically Al Golden told Dexter Williams he was bumped from being able to be a Hurricane while they waited on a guy that TROLLED Golden's fat ***.

Meanwhile Notre Lame never gave up. Stayed on him. Wrote get well cards to his sick mother and all but rolled out the red carpet for him.

I know for a FACT we could have had them both as a package deal.

Both of my kids go to West Orange High School, my son plays football for them and the photography I do for UM I also do for West Orange. I am lucky enough to get to know the players and their families. Not saying Dexter is perfect, he's far from it but he wanted to be a Cane. I'll never root for Notre Dame but I'll root for Dexter.
