Devin Hester returned a punt back for a touchdown that gave Miami the lead in its 2004 victory over the University of Louisville. Harry Douglas caught four passes for 94 yards two years later when the Cardinals avenged that loss against the Hurricanes.

Monday's third regular-season meeting between the two schools in a decade meant there was a score to settle.

Now an Atlanta Falcons teammates of Douglas, Hester is still hearing about U of L's 31-13 season-opening victory over Miami from Monday. On Wednesday, as he showed up for interviews, Douglas' No. 85 U of L Orange Bowl jersey was hanging at Hester's locker.

Hester looked none too happy about it, either, in a photo posted to Twitter by ESPN's Vaughn McClure.

Hester can thank our ****** of a coach that can't beat a completely overhauled team

kinda funny in a way the beating a miami program that has been mediocre for the better part of 10 years still means something to these types of teams/ fanbases that havent won anything of significance or been relevant in their history. i'm sure Devin didnt even know this guy played there if he didnt hang up that ****** jersey next to his locker or would've have acknowledged him if miami won

Douglas is actually a pretty good player. And why shouldn't a teammate talk **** to each other. Its no different than a friend rubbing your nose in it.

my friend would get punched in the nose as would Harry Douglas. Ima just have selective memory and 5 years from now the "Golden era" doesn't count. I'ma just pretend we got the death penalty these last 4 years

Then you take sports way too serious. Its all in good fun. Just like I bet you rubbed their nose in it when the Canes beat the Gators. Its all fun. Its all trash talk. If you can't handle it don't dish it out...especially if you were one of the MANY Canes fans that were talking about how bad Miami was gonna destroy Louisville.

If it was a rival i could understand like fsu or uf, but louisville like mike rumph said is a mediocre team, so thats why losing to them is so demoralizing. miami means more to them than the other way around. unless they had a bet or something going then i could see it. i have never heard of douglass until i saw him on HBO hard knocks a few weeks ago bragging on how he uses womens deodorant.

This Hester/Douglas deal along with William ***'s clowning of Sean Spence in the Steelers locker room...it's ******* pathetic. If I'm Hester/Spence, I don't take my frustration out on Douglas/***...I take it out on Golden by picking up the phone and telling Golden/James/Shalala that if they want any of that NFL money I'm making, that they had better figure out a way to right the ship.

Or else, that money will be put to good use in backing someone else for HC/AD/Prez.
