You do realize why they have all changed the rules? Surely you didn't miss that. Yes, returns are fun, but that has nothing to do with the rule changes.

The legacy ways of kick offs were just getting too dangerous. We all want to celebrate athletic achievement, but some of that stuff was getting to be "run full speed at brick wall" type of futile.
