Ironic how this is playing out. Golden has always talked about "deserving victory" right? (well at least before "it's on me") anyways, does anyone here think we DESERVE to play in a bowl game? What has this team earned? With the exception of Duke, Brad, Denzel and Chick. Who on this team DESERVES the OPPORTUNITY to play in a bowl game? Anyone? This team completely gave up after they couldn't make it to the ACCCG and now they're gonna get rewarded with a bowl game? And for what? I'm not saying it's going to happen where we won't go to a bowl game, the players need the extra practices and God knows we need to win a **** bowl game. (which you know Golden is gonna use a line about winning a bowl game to try and mooch another year out of this ****) But the point here is we don't deserve it. We have been an unmitigated embarrassment since the FSU game and now these kids, the same ones who rolled over and played dead the last 8-10 quarters, are going to get to play in a low tier bowl game and have some fun to end the season. If golden had any ounce of dignity he would forego the bowl game and send a message that if you give up, you don't reap the benefits.

Is that you Al? Blaming the players AGAIN! Leadership needs to deserved to be followed. Al and his girlfriend do not. Whatever amount of quit these kids are guilty of is nothing compare to the incompetent pride of Al to continue to take money for failure. It is one thing to try everything and fail. It is another to predetermine how winning must be accomplished to satisfy your own bloated ego and refuse to make the slightest change to actually win. That is what we have here. A prideful loser, insisting that if we cannot win his way then we will not win at all! The only thing you can blame these kids for is NOT hanging Al up by his feet until Blake fired him.
