Derrick Griffin is balling as a two-sport athlete at TSU

We all remember this dude. Incredible athlete and the one who got away a couple years ago because his unfortunate academic issues prevented him from qualifying at Miami.

Griffin is now at Texas Southern, where he was named an FCS Freshman of the Year Award finalist after catching 11 touchdowns and averaging 19.7 yards per reception.

Griffin also just played his first basketball game in over three years earlier this week and put up 19 and 12.

Have no idea if he'll end up making it into a bigger program somewhere down the line, but if there's any way possible for us to get him at some point if his grades are finally in order...oh my.
