Interesting that he believes he can step directly into a college HC position. Why not when asked if he’d coach at the U.

Yeah, I think that's Prime just being Prime lol.

But it's not out of the ordinary for a HS coach to come straight to college & be a coach, Gus Malzahn, Art Briles, Chad Morris, Sterlin Gilbert, Shaun Aguano & a bunch other all came from HS into coaching college.

However, rarely does a HS guy come in & get a HC job. Bill Clark coached HS ball down in Alabama for a long time before he got hired as a DC at South Alabama for his first college job, but most guys don't get a HC job straight out of HS.

Tony Sanchez coached HS in Texas, Nex Mexico, Cali & Bishop Gorman & got hired to be HC at UNLV straight out of HS, but he failed miserably, couldn't win more than 5 games once in a season.

Deion had Prime Prep academy for 3 years & has coached at Trinity Christian for the last 4 years & also been coaching at the Under Armor game for years now, but in no way would any P5 school hire him to be a HC. He would be the most elite CB coach & recruiter in the business, but no way he should get a P5 or even G5 job right out the gate.

He should start out at smaller FCS program or even go D2 at a place like Texas A&M Kingsville.

You're knowledge and recall never cease to amaze me El. No doubt he's got plenty of bravado! LOL I totally agree it would be a huge step for him to go from where he is now to HC at a P5.

ND hired a guy straight our of HS. It end very nicely for us Cane fans in the OB. Heck, even ND came out okay because the next HC they hired paid off the refs South Bend and stole a NC from us.

Off topic, but it's all of that **** right there that cracks me up with semenole fans laughing off the notion that the GOAT in the role hes in with us would be equal to FSU hiring dieon for the same thing.

Reed got by on every avenue hes been in with sheer determination, mental fortitude and a borderline supernatural ability to diagnose what's in front of him....sanders....fvck out of here 😂😂

Y’all funny with the goggles on. No clue if he can coach, but Deion was an incredible athlete and a Hall of Fame football player.
