Message to the Defense; This weekend has to be the best tackling we've had this season.

Adams will probably be the hardest runner we've faced all year outside of Akers from F$U.

Can't have an off day on D in any respect. Needs to be a good 4-quarter performance, and we need to IMPOSE our will. Just playing a decent or pretty good game won't cut it. Have to assume the D will need to carry us.

Our O is hit or miss, but I believe we can make enough plays if the D plays well. But they HAVE TO play well. All night.
 
the d has been able to hold most teams to below average rushing, that's ND's bread and butter. slowing down Adams is the only way we win
