Ive read that since Manny came to the program in 2016, we've had a DE that has had at least 8.5 sacks in a season. If Deandre can be that guy, that would be huge

Who stabs someone at HS especially with no motive whatsoever? That’s psycho. The girl who helped slow down the bleeding is a life saver.
 
I'm expecting a solid 10 tfls 6 sacks while playing solid run defense. I'd say a little higher but I expect the top 4 to split snaps more evenly than last year. He was pretty productive last year in a defense that doesn't let the pass rushers be as aggressive.

I am very happy for this young man. Almost lost his life at 15 for no reason, and look at him now. Playing D1 football, got his degree, and has a chance to ball at THE U in front of his family who I am sure are very proud.

Get that draft stock up kid! 10 sack season coming up. I will be rooting for him to be great.

I had such high hopes for Harvey, thought he was at least as good as Garvin coming out of HS. We need him to be "that guy" this season! Johnson and Harvey have the potential to be very good DEs. Need them to deliver game time.

Be honest do you think Harvey has had enough reps in a game to really judge him. He really hasn't had starter minutes yet. In the bowl game he looked very quick off the edge and in spring he was one of the most talked about players. It should (hopefully) translate to the field this year.
 
I think Harvey had too high of expectations. Myself included might need to lower them a little. Talks were of him being Garvin 2.0. And the 2018 Garvin at that. The one that looked like a sure fire first round pick until he BS'ed his way through the 2019 season. But a 3 headed monster of Harvey, DJ and McCloud should be able to hold their own in the ACC Coastal.

He’s underwhelmed so far. McCloud’s been most consistent of the 4 guys rotating in. But Harvey and Chantz have the best upside. Simpson needs to coach these guys up.

I don’t care where they play, DT or DE. But Roberts and Taylor need to PLAY.
