Assuming everything goes well and every DB we have now will be here for fall camp i think we only take one more DB. this isnt about who do you think will be here its who you think will be the best. Nigel Bethel II CB, Trayone Gray S, Ryan Mayes CB/S, Dennis Turner CB, Ryheem Lockley S is a solid class already

Choices are

Chis lammons- ATH QB/CB Plantation High, Obviously a play maker on either side of the ball one of those press sticky corners that is still raw with high upside some question his height and speed (5'9 4.6 40) but kid has heart

Kyle Gibson- S Armwood Sr. High Kid is a big hitter gym shorts and cones are not what you will come to see from him. aggressive not afraid to come close to the LOS (6-1 4.65 40)

i think these two can be immediate impact guys (not starting but getting mins) i will throw a few more names out that might be committed or don't have an offer Marquese Dudley-Gordon S, Deion Hallmon CB, Marques Gayot S, J.C. Jackson CB, Kiy Hester S, Kendall Sawyer CB. My pick is Lammons but im bias as a PHS alumni :neonu::quag:

what year did you graduate from PHS?? I am also a PHS grad.

Gibson is my choice. With the 12, 13, & 14 recruiting classes this staff has turned the CB position into a strength. I think we are one impact player away at safety to have championship depth at that position and I think Gibson is the best safety prospect available.

Gibson because we need talent and depth and safety. Lammons would be nice too.

I would love to close out our DB class with SS Marques Gayot(WATCH HIS FILM) and FS/CB Kyle Gibson, if not Gibson(b/c we never land Armwood players) I would love to flip JC Jackson from UF.

I'm fine with not taking Lammons especially b/c we just got a commit from Bethel who IMO is the better of the two short CBs on our board (Lammons and Bethel).

Lammons IMO needs more game experience at CB before I would feel comfortable taking him at 5'8/5'9 (with a 4.6/4.7 40).

He has not shown me enough to be labeled a CB, IMO he should still be labeled an ATH until we see actual game film of him at CB.

As of right now he is an extremely gifted ATH with the ball in his hands(all his film shows) but I do not know how he is in coverage till I see it with the pads on.

And hasn't Lammons been on some of those Quincy Wilson tweets about no one wanting to go to the U and how all the South FL Express 7 on 7 team is going to wind up at UF or some ****.

If so, then I def don't want this kid.

Bethel is at least a proven lockdown CB with great speed and is a true Cane recruiting like crazy for us already.

Oh, and Lockley def won't play Safety here.

IMO he is a OLB all the way if not TE.

I really wish he was playing defense(OLB or S) at prep instead of WR b/c we need more athletes of his caliber on defense and have more WRs than we know what to do with.

I still want the staff to give Carter Jacobs a look since I think we take one more safety. Kid is fast, covers well, and hits like a ******* train

Chris, if you are reading this, I want you to know that you are the greatest football player ever, and dont listen to the bad men.

I really like Lammons. Think the kid has the athleticism and grit to be a dynamic playmaker for us as he gets more comfortable at cb. However, Gibson would be a close 2nd because safety is the bigger need and the kid looks like the total package : good range, good ball skills, willing tackler.....

Good thing we don't have to settle for just one though...

Lammons is a player...dude has a long wingspan and the quickness.

We've had him camp for like 2-3 years so theyve seen him @ cb...and obviously been all over the kid..just hope the Kevin Beard situation is strong enough to hold off the Marcus Roberson/Quincy Wilson pull to Uf.

I think the staff is making a huge mistake by not recruiting Quincy Wilson. I don't care what he said on twitter or what his daddy said about UM. He's better than both these guys.

i been on the Wilson bandwagon as a Safety to go with what we currently have brought in in the db backfield.

Not sure what their looking at but if we cant flip Gayot, we need a safety prospect in this class...wilson can play that spot imo. Dont realy care for his affinity as a cb...wherever he goes dude will have to play where the coaches put him...he aint gonna be coached by his old man no more...cry and get ya *** to the back of the line.

Our safety recruiting has been peculiar this yr....were not in on much if not any fla kids at that spot...I think were in on the Nicholson kid out of pA...but that kids goes to a school that sends their kids to osu or pitt.
