David Njoku Practiced With TEs Today

Don't tell that to the Canes fans who would flame those who said he would eventually play TE.

OP is referring to David. You are thinking of Evidence.

True but i think his point still stands. A lot of people thought Bethel would never play DT here and he has. A lot of people thought Rousseau was too skinny to play DE and he's already wowing coaches and is up to 225lbs in a flash.

A lot of people also stated with absolute certainty that Evidence would never be a TE here because he's too "skinny".

This board continues to underestimate how big these kids become with a legit Div1A nutritional and weight training program.

By August of next year, Evidence will be in the mix at TE. He'll leave here the same size as his brother.

I don't think you can say with absolute certainty that Evidence will be a TE or that he will be a WR.

Evidence has no chance at te, none.

His lower body isn’t big and he’s skinny up top. He’s a wr all the way.

David was a te from the jump , there was never any doubt he’d play te.

A first rounder taking snaps at practice from our QBs. Now that doesn't happen every day...

Ivins covers ND as well as Miami. In a recent radio interview, he said the difference between camps was remarkable, especially with how many alumni from the NFL show up to work with our current players. He believes what we have going at Miami is unique in college football.

No past players at ND or other schools want to return to those ****holes.

UM is unique.

I really love seeing the energy displayed in that video, and how the players move from drill to drill. We've got some juice!

Jarren getting to throw to an NFL tight end because we're thin at the position is hilarious.

Didn’t Polendy drop that pass that hit him directly in the hands from N’kosi? If so, keep that dude as a H-Back or blocker only.

Njoku is such a freak athlete - he has that spring to his step that a guy his size simply shouldn't have.

Great to see that the ex-Canes are coming back and getting involved. It's part of what makes this team special.

It is unique. Miami is the only school that regularly has numerous ex-players (many All-Pros and Hall-of-farmers) back on campus for games and even practices.

A lot of people think it's annoying when a lot of other people are constantly trying to change everybody's position. Kids are brought in at certain positions, and 95% of them will end up playing those very same positions.
