Any chance that the person who told you this is a fan of Georgia? If so, that does not mean they are wrong or your information is bad, but it might mean that your source has a specific, UGA based perspective. Just as most of us on here have UM based perspectives.
And perspectives tend to turn objective positions into subjective positions.

But understand we UM fans have sung this ā€œhe wants to be at Miami but for (fill in excuse)ā€ song for many years. And now that others are signing that song, we enjoy it much more and we enjoy their disappointment.

You know the program is on another level now when weā€™re waiting on the number 1 player in the country to announce and if he doesnā€™t pick Miami, as rumored, I really wonā€™t sweat it too much.
