Unlike the traditional slimmer faster DE's in SoFL, Darron Reed from Columbus, Ga is a big boned heavier type DE. At 6'5" 260lbs he will easily become a DT and reflects IMO the bigger type of interior defenders we should be recruiting and the new staff is obviously going after. Loving our recruiting efforts/offers in Ga with new defensive coaches.

I see him as a 6’5, 290 DT. Simpson has expressed a desire for athletic, penetrating, 3-technique DTs who can get upfield. this guy looks like he fits that bill.

Lot of Auburn fans (and UGA, too, obviously) up there ... it's like 45 minutes to Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Exactly. Columbus borders Bama and is closer to Auburn than FSU.
