2021 4 star corner out of Camdem, NJ. Teammates with current lb commit Austin-Cave. Offered by Patke as he is up there right now visiting TAC.

5'11 180 lbs. 4.85 40 in April. 4.43 shuttle. 26.5 vertical.

Offers so far: Baylor, Maryland, NC State, Rutgers, Temple, and West Virginia.

2019 stats: 9 games, 41 tackles (17 solo), 5 picks, 1 FF, 13 pbu.

"Has frame to play corner or safety. Boundary corner is ideal spot. Instinctual and smart on field. Athletic and changes direction well. Tracks ball and is aggressive in coverage. Good in run support. Has closing speed and body control. Strong tackler with technique. Plays physical and re-routes receivers with strong jam. Comfortable in press and off-man coverage. Has to work on bending more at knees in backpedal. Transition from backpedal to driving on ball needs work. Top end speed is concern. Personal-best 11.24 in 100 meters. Must continue to develop hip looseness. Multi-year starter at Power 5 school. NFL free agent." -Brian Dohn 247

The kid must really pass the eyeball test because those numbers and his track numbers aren’t explosive or fast for the position. I’d rather the staff take some risk on developing raw athletes instead of a guy who may have limited upside.

Yep. Why offer an OOS ‘21 kid like this st this time? Seems bizarre unless those numbers are false. 26.5” vertical won’t cut it for DB.

Who Cares, we havent even seen all of the 2017 recruits play yet, let alone the 18 and 19 bunch, and we got a 2021 thread, lol. Truth be told tho, this recruit is projected to be a future linebacker or strong safety.

Y'all act as if we took the kids commitment. I'm sure if he runs a similar time in the off season we won't push for him. If he looks the part on film I have no problem with the offer.

A 4.8 40 and a 11.24 100 dont equal. I'm pretty sure he's definitely not a 4.8 just by using common sense and watching his highlights, judging his current offer list I will say I'm more than 1000% sure he's not 4.8. 11.24 is not slow either considering that was from his sophmore year.

Typical NE type of player that would do well in Al Golden’s Zone scheme. Pass!!!
S. Florida ***** out better prospects than this guy.

If those numbers are correct I don't want any part of this at CB unless he has the finest instincts in the land. Slow, short, can't jump. This guy will get abused at the next level.

Not going to lie his numbers are definitely concerning to me but to be honest
his tape shows a player that plays way faster than his listed time. Now I have no idea who hes playing against but for the most part he looked to be the fastest player on the field minus the one dude in the white and red that hawked him down.

He's a junior...

My bad. I thought this was a 2020. Those stats aren’t near as terrible as I thought. He has another full year of growth and development.

Still for a guy who is 5’11 180 and rated as a 4 star the numbers aren’t what you’d expect.

Mutha ******* yikes bro. We dropped that Hodges kid and we going recruit this guy? I’ll never understand our DB recruiting.
