GOOD TO SEE THE PAST WARRIORS KEEPING THE NEW WARRIORS ENCOURAGED. IT MEANS MORE THAN PEOPLE THINK IT DOES.

That's incredible. Richt is instilling team first with these kids and recruiting those types of kids and letting the others go (Mullins).

The last 10-12 years we have had a boat load of kids just wanting to get to the NFL ASAP and didn't care about the team.

The guys that laid the foundation were team guys and why they always come back. They always want Championships no matter how good they were while in school and how much money they made in the NFL.

This is why I love this U. The older guys coming back and dropping knowledge on the youngsters.

Ray gets the most credit, but no LB ever had a season here like Morgan. Without injuries in the NFL would have possibly been an all time great.

Dan Morgan is a Cane great that you never really hear about being involved in the program. Awesome he has reached, one of my all time favorites. Still rep his 44 Jersey as my go to.

He is awfully quiet for a guy who played four bad *** years here. Any background to that? Just a quiet dude?

He's severally underrated. That interception on the goal line against FSU to end the first half goes unnoticed as that game ended up with so many big plays but it's right up there with the great ones.

I think Morgan is a front office executive for the Seahawks. Long way from Seattle to Miami.

Doesn't get the credit he deserves because people unfortunately correlate NFL careers with college careers. He was the best CANE linebacker of all-time IMO.

Nobody has ever come here and put up the numbers that he did.

That's really cool that the former greats keep in touch with these kids. I don't think any other school in the country can say that their kids receive texts from multiple NFL pro-bowlers on a weekly basis.

As mentioned by an earlier poster, Morgan’s end zone interception against FSU was one of the top 5 defensive plays in Miami history. Maybe second only to the Matt Walters-Ed Reed pick 6 to ice the BC game in 2001.
