Dan Enos Mic’d Up - OC Arkansas

Here’s Dan Enos mic’d up during his first spring at Arkansas, with QB Brandon Allen. Allen would go on to make an enormous jump the next season:

- yds/pass he went from 76th nationally in 2014 to 5th in 2015
- completion % from 87th in 2014 to 17th in 2015
- passer rating from 61st to 5th

And more impressive is this wasn’t a SOPH jump. Allen made this jump from his JR to SR year after starting the previous 2 years. Incredible QB turnaround job by Enos, hard to find a better turnaround than this.

Enos seems very laid back in the video, goofing around with the players - but clearly knows what he’s doing with those drills.

Another note - after his SR year Allen was drafted in the 6th round, I don’t think he was on anyone’s draft radar after his JR year

Pretty much the only thing I watch in drills for any position. Bottom up. We've had some true wildness here lately. Not sure how much of that was specific to Malik, but NKosi was often off-balance, too.

I hope we're under center a decent amount this year.. I would hope at least 25-30%. So much more things you need to prepare for as a defense in doing so.
