I have and it's very good. Taking 5 linebackers would be a lot but all of them would make a pretty nice impact. Depth never hurts.
 
One of the only LBs I see us taking would be Devin Bush Jr and he's obviously a FSU lean and wants to see what Miami can do on the field this year first. Maybe Alexy Jean-Baptiste but that's about it. Unless we are talking an OOS stud obviously.

Want. And he's an EE, won't count against this classes numbers. Tied for the most sacks in Broward County last season while living homeless momentarily and bouncing from home to home thereafter until he moved in with one of his teachers. Kids a soldier!

I like Gil's versatility but Jeanty is more of a natural linebacker than Gil is right now. Gil is still a tweener.

It's apples and oranges. Two different types of players.

im just not a big fan of Gil's he looks like a lower D1 player not a Cane. Jeanty does his speed and side line to side line ability is awesome. his offer list is not that good though. so it has to be something else.

What a wonderful story. Mr. Jeanty is already "life tested", thus very mature for his age. He has good measurables for OLB. He's a very good student. He's hungry. The kind of young man you want in your program. One hitch… He's a "bubble" prospect. While he has 24 scholarship offers, only one comes from a P-5 program. That's very telling. At this time, I see him as a back-up plan if other more talented (on the field) prospects drop off our board. I wish we had room for him.

I wish Mr. Jeanty all the best wherever he lands. He will be an excellent "student-athlete."

Agree i think this kid is a stud in the making. True playmaker. Long way to go until Feb 2016, maybe have a shot to flip.
