The core of it was that Franchise posted some negative Figueroa/Blue stuff. And then a couple of posters tried to pull the "but that's not what you said a couple of years ago" stuff and pulled some of his old posts from when Figueroa and Blue were first arrested.

Now, without actually speaking for Franchise, I know attorneys that do defense work are quick to stand up for the rights of the accused. Still, I see a distinction between THAT ("let's give them their day in court") vs. victim-blaming ("the girl is a ho").

Having said that, I have been told that there were some other issues too, at least in Franchise's decision to step away. I think some people got very personal with him. Again, the guy hasn't been around in years, yet you still have some people eager to rip him apart.

I do hope @The Franchise comes back, though I've been told that is incredibly unlikely.

He’s good !! No doubt. One of the best to have pounded the keyboards on here. But when you run around smashing fellow Canes fans at the expense of being funny or witty, at least have the balls to take it when someone smashes back.

Now he just lurks on here in the shadows like a little ***** because someone called his *** out on one of his terrible takes regarding the Fig rape issue. Instead of talking it like a man, he ran off and is now hiding in the shadows these days and only plays the weak *** emojis game instead of commenting.



I think Mike Tyson said it best. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. When dude got punched , his internet pride got hurt and he ran off like a lil *****. It is what it is.

I’d love to see him come back. He’s entertaining and a true Canes fan and It’s a better board with him posting on here. But bullies don’t like getting bullied so I’m guessing we won’t be seeing him post on here anytime soon.

Besides, he’s got to be a nightmare for the MAUDS to deal with.

Franchise is the best, Sniff and DBC round out the top 3. Bomb and Fragle get honorable mention. Big Conch did not make the cut.
