Cristobal SI.com article

He should go back to Alabama and learn time management, or how to kneel the ball when the game is mathematically over.

I like cristobal but the hype train is outta control. He lucked into the job when Taggart left. Let's see how this plays out over a 2-3 year period.

Agree...he looks better right now too with a stud QB in Herbert - that guy will be playing on Sundays.

I see him back at Miami......longterm....
Yeah down the line I’ll be fine with it years from now if he continues this trajectory. 2 things you won’t have to worry about with Cristobal Is bad oline play and recruiting at an elite level annually

Lets be frank. The only thing holding the U back us a really good OC. A dynamic offense would attract that 5* WR, that 5* OL, that big time CB.

This love affair with Wario from Canes fans is sad.

WHEN WE NEED A NEW HC IN 5 YEARS (or whenever) WE CAN DO MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN CRISTOBAL.

Yes. Mario right now we can do better than. We do not know what the Mario in 5 years looks like. If he has them winning Pac 12 titles and is in the playoff? All the top teams will be after him and we have the advantage.

Oregon is at home agsinst Washington tomorrow. Winner has leg up to win northern division of PAC. He screwed up against Stanford. Let’s see what happens agsinst a very good Husky team.

Only way he's ever back at Miami is as head coach—and due to him leaving for Bama last go around and winding up in Oregon—he's now lost ground to Manny Diaz, who is working towards being Richt's heir apparent.

I have nothing against Mario, I actually loved him and his brother when they played for us. But why is everyone thinking that CMR will not be here long term. CMR has no NFL dreams, Its relatively young, I see him here (if he continues to do well) for 15 years more or so.

I don’t get the Mario hate.

I think it’s reasonable to say that right now he has yet to prove himself, but I wouldn’t summarily rule him out if he proves to be a winner down the line.

He’s picked up how to play the “game” and run an organization at Bama, if he can prove to be a big winner at Oregon, you guys that don’t want him are going to be very pleased - because at that point I doubt we can afford him.

I don’t think it’s “ hate” but more of the people obsessed with him. And he’s done nothing to deserve getting this job, yet this small group constantly slams his name down our throat.

I really don’t understand it.
