Where is D$ or Pete?

Can you help this kid out (send his video to the staff), perhaps we can get him to go to a camp.

Unbelievably talented and the size helps with him being a power back since he has a lower center of gravity then most. But the only way this kid signs D-1 is if a head coach finds him and recruits him. No assistant coach is going to go back to there school telling their boss about an unheard of 5'6" running back. Realistically, he will go NAIA or D-1AA and break records. His best chance is to walk on.

I am no expert and I admit that but this kid has skills. Not every team can send a coach to evaluate a player in person. Too me, he is a perfect example of why we have camps. He needs to come to the camp so we can evaluate him in person and give him an opportunity to demonstrate his skills. Worst case scenario is this kid doesn't get an offer.

If anyone knows this team/coach that he plays for they should try and reach out.

He ran a 4.84sec 40 at the new Orleans NFTc and had 4.44 sec 20 yd shuttle which could lead one to believe he is a little stiff, which can hurt a running back.

But he does run with power and being so short he cold hide behind taller linemen much like former Oklahoma RB Quentin Griffen who is the same size. UM has plenty RB options locally however I still like this kid as a power/ change up because he has good vision also.

That is definitely an option. I would just try lower schools 1st. He needs to not be unheard of and be the most talked about thing at a camp. That won't happen at Miami. Someone will get the spot light a little more than him. Plus his playing style isn't really something you see in 7 on 7 games which is what most of these camps do. He needs to attempt to go to a LAtech camp or some small school in that area, then when he has a name go to the bigger ones.

At the Miami camps there are a bunch of schools not just Miami.

I don't know what specific schools but this is from the website...

The camp objective is to teach the basic fundamentals and skills of the game of football. The Miami Coaching staff will be assisted by coaches from Division I (BCS & FCS), II, and III Universities and Colleges and also the premier High School Coaches from the Southeast Region.

That forty is brutal. From watching his film, not much room for improvement either.

I agree on the local side. I'm sure there is someone in Dade that would work as good if not better.

Your basing room for improvement in the 40 yard dash (done without pads) based on game highlights (with pads)?

Interesting.

Have you ever played football? Seriously, not in the backyard during Thanksgiving.

Reminds me of Robert Newhouse from back in the day. Good luck to him. He does have skills, but he runs like he's a powerlifter. I actually think he'd make a good full back for someone at the D-1 level.
